Eye Tests Includes The Following
Visual acuity is the measurement of clarity of vision. The visual acuity test is used to determine the smallest letters you can read on a standardized chart (Snellen chart) or a card held 6 metres away. Special charts are used when testing at distances shorter than 6 metres.
2.Intra Ocular Pressure Test
A routine part of every eye exam that measures the fluid pressure inside the eye. Increased pressure within the eye can be a sign of glaucoma, a common and potentially very serious eye problem, if it is not detected and treated promptly.
Autorefractors are machines that automatically determine the correct lens/spectacle prescription for your eyes.
Fundus photography documents the retina, the neurosensory tissue in our eyes which translates the optical images we see into the electrical impulses our brain understands.
5.Slit Lamp Examination
Slit-lamp examination provides a stereoscopic magnified view of the eye structures in detail, enabling anatomical diagnoses to be made for a variety of eye conditions.
