Racial Harmony Day Eye Care Talk at Jelutang CC

On 20 July 2008, over 200 Sembawang residents began their Sunday with a morning brisk walking session followed by a morning workout at the Canberra Hard Court. This was part of the program for Sembawang GRC’s Racial Harmony Day Celebration. Dr Lim Wee Kiak was the Guest of Honour for this event while Dr Julian Theng was an invited guest speaker who gave the residents an insight on Advances in Cataract, Refractive and Presbyopia Treatments. The day’s celebration included dance performances by different races, salad making competition, and a lucky draw event. All residents also received a goodie bag specially prepared by Eagle Eye Centre.
